The Government Payroll System Training Programme was conducted by the Management Development Training Unit for officers representing various provincial institutions. The programme was organized with the objective of strengthening financial management activities within provincial institutions, particularly in view of the establishment of new financial units in several key provincial institutions.
The training session was facilitated by Y. Habeebullah, Chief Accountant of the Department of Samurdhi Development, who served as the Key Resource Person and shared his expertise on the effective operation and management of the Government Payroll System.
A total of thirty-five (35) participants attended the programme and actively engaged in the training sessions. The programme provided participants with practical knowledge and skills required for efficient payroll administration and contributed to enhancing the financial management capacity of provincial institutions.
