The Management Development Training Unit (MDTU) conducted a one-day training programme on Conflict Management on 26th June 2025, at the MDTU, Trincomalee. The training programme was facilitated by Ms.M.M.Halida, Provincial Director, Department of Rural Industries, Eastern Province, who shared her expertise as the resource person for the day. This training programme was designed to help participants understand the dynamics of conflict in the workplace and develop effective strategies for resolution. It focused on practical approaches to managing disagreements constructively and improving communication among staff. A total of 45 staff took part in the training programme, showing strong enthusiasm and actively participating throughout the day. Interactive discussions and real-life case studies kept the session engaging and relevant, encouraging participants to reflect on their own experiences and apply new techniques in their professional environments.
